MOSA TRAJECTUM

This is the latin name given by the Romans to the city of Maastricht in the Netherlands, located aside the river Maas (Mosa), the birthplace of the founder of this beautiful resort. As this name was in fact given for the "bridge over the river Maas", the founder also added a copy of this bridge as an entrance monument for the resort. This unique 5 star Golf & Sport resort is with 360 hectare one of the biggest in Spain. Still the resort will be kept spacious by limiting the number of buildings in the area and concentrating on a wide Golf & Sports area.

Co-founder and famous soccerplayer/coach Johan Cruyff, who changed his football-shoes for a pair of golfclubs, helped to make the Mosa Golf Academy into a success. You can really upgrade your golf skills with the help of professional golf teachers and the most modern methods as video analyses of your swing movements. Under a moveable shelter-roof you will be teached by pro's to improve your handicap.

MOSA MEETING PLACE:

The centre of the resort is formed by a 300 year old Spanish farm , which is reformed into a splendid hotel (a Parador) and nice club-house with terrace and restaurant.

 MOSA GOLF COURSE:

The magnificent designed golf course fulfils very high golf standards. An acknowledgement of its golf qualities was given by the organisation  of the final of the PGA Europro Tour at Mosa Golf in october 2004.

Mosa Golf consists of three main elements:

Championship Course
This is a splendid 27 holes course which has following outstanding characteristics:
- high quality: built according the high USGA- and PGA standards;
- highly appreciated and challenging design
- ecological design: water-retaining foam is used under the grass areas by which water consumption is drastically reduced and a water purification installation takes care of clean irrigation water;

- unique golf course architecture by a split-up of the 27 holes course into 3 x 9 holes courses.
 

Challenge Course
The separate 9 hole par 3 Challenge Course is of a very exclusive design. The greens and fairways are designed in such a way that it harmonises perfectly with the landscape. Because the terrain is rather curved this gives you a unique experience of a subtropical landscape running through an old river bed.

Golf Academy
This Golf Academy is ideal for beginners, novice golfers or those who have a real desire to improve. For these lessons the Academy has a range of methods and equipment for swing analysis: video cameras and video monitoring to improve your golf swing. Also there is a moveable shelter-roof for the driving range and trainings areas for chip and put practising.

Golf users right:
The rent of a villa in Mosa Golf gives you the right to buy a golf users-right at Euro 75,- (approx GBP 53,-) which gives you a 60% discount on the above mentioned green fees (max 4 pers.).
